that's us exactly, we were all there the night we got beat at home by Hartlepool in the Freight Rover in front of 7/8000. 10 of us attending on Boxing Day
I was at the Freight rover game against Pools iirc the crowd was under 7000 .
Was also there in The Roker end when we played Plymouth in the league. Iirc it was Brian Atkinson's debut. The crowd was just over 8000.
Done palace away on a Friday night. Back home 5am work for 8am.
We have some fans who sacrifice a lot and some fans who are like sheep who will only go when everyone of mates want to go.
Footy fans have always been like sheep.
Our crowds in 40 odd years of going have fluctuated more than any other club.

I used to do exactly the same when I lived in Dubai - you spend 1500 but don't go, stop kidding yourself you're better than any other non attender
Yes I book the flights and match tickets but never attend
Will I see you at Accrington away next month ?
For the record to attend next month it will cost nearly a grand for us both.
M to Manchester airport then train to Durham. Match on Saturday then Monday train to Liverpool to fly from there.
Back to work on Monday.
I bet your flight to Newcastle from Dubai was direct :p

Just an excuse, many of the thousands last year had enough they just kept supporting. Thousands just fucked off for any old feeble excuse imo
I am going to be accused of having two log ins before long

we both used to go a lot, we both moved abroad, we're both non attenders - lots in common

but only one of us has a pop at those who do the same

People are creatures of habit. Even for those who were diehards and would never miss a game there was something about the last couple of seasons that broke the camels back. The trouble is for some of those people new habits have formed which don't revolve around attending games anymore.

Give your head a shake man. We only averaged 13 or 14 k at roker park would you only allow the people that had backbones back then attend?

That was twenty years ago ya bawbag, sound like a mag with this how good are we attendance Bollox.
Bottom line is 10-15k have fucked off. You think I really care if people pander to get them back?

I am sure over the years a Boxing Day game can put another 5k or so on the gate, it's possible, Bradford would likely bring much more than average for a league one team I am sure
