That's what I mean“Characters”, aye. Absolute freaks you mean.
Hawley’s full of lads in fedoras and Amy Winehouse fans.
That's what I mean
Tbh, find Camden overrated as fuck in the main.
Quite like it round Putney area, one of the reasons Fulham is my favourite away day.Camden is dreadful. Kentish Town is fine.

The Hawley for Camden, used to go to Dublin Castle for gigs but not been in for years. The Vine and The Junction for KT. A bit further up the hill toward Tufnell Park you have the Dartmouth, the Lord Palmerston, and the Bull and Last
Yeah? Not been in for a long time - early 2000s. The Dartmouth was my local - had good beer, a trivia night, footy on tv, and a landlord that looked like Eddie Izzard. The Southampton is the one just after the bridge as you go up Highgate Rd?Pretty much a restaurant, can’t just turn up for a pint.
If we’re going that for north might as well hoy in the Southampton Arms, which isn’t worth doing to unless you like real ale and cider.
Yes. Its toppaDo all the britpop bands still drink in Camden?
This. One of me favourite boozers. Camden is class.Elephants Head

Lived on Chetwynd which is pretty much over the road a little higher up - still crash there when I'm back in the UKThe elephants head is decent enough, hawley arms used to be ok. The answer is as posted just previously, the Southampton Arms. I used to live over the road from there when it was a bit different to how it is now
The prices of goods and services in a place reflect the cost of the purchase price of the product, the wages they pay to staff and cost of ground rent on the pub, bar or restaurant.
It’s not f***ing difficult. If you don’t like it and constantly feel ripped off, or come here and restrict yourself to drinking in shit holes or Wetherspoons because you can’t bare the expense, stop at home.
If you like cheese go to the Cheese Bar. It has lots of cheese as well as booze.
And you get a free shot with every pint ...
I don’t like to feel I’ve been robbed though. It’s mental down here with outer London prices in lots of places. That’s not reflected in the wages of the staff eitherIs this price of a pint grumble we always get on here just a London thing? Are people like this on holiday as well?
If you’re down here for 3-4 days or whatever and every pint you buy is 40p or even a quid more each time you’d surely have to be drinking a hundred pints or something for it to even matter.
If money’s that tight surely you shouldn’t be going away ffs.
