As much as I hate Newcastle from a football perspective I don't see the problem. There was an excellent turn out and excellent atmosphere for a young lad making the European step up.

He also started very well and looked like he would steam roller him had he not taken that body shot.

Fair play to them I say, I really don't see what the issue is.

They barely got behind him at all after the first couple of rounds. It was a cracking fight, not matched by the atmosphere. They were hardly the “12th man” were they.
