Nearly got puggled myself off some fat lass in Newcastle, whilst watching the fight. Couldn’t help laughing at her ‘I love Rafa’ tattoo on her arm.

All Mags are dicks
not stinking mags though surely??Personally would rather see NE boxers do well. Aye he's a mag but he's a local lad trying to make a success of himself and highlight the profile of the region within the sport. Just my opinion like
NEE Greggs like?Have you been up west Rd lately ? It’s kebab heaven
Didn't it blow up on its first race?
I drive through Walker and Byker occasionally. It's a real eye opener. The Newcastle which is published to the media is nothing like it's reality.
Walker, Byker, Benwell, Cowgate, elswick, west road, who ever still lives there has zero quality of life.

Hearn has his agenda which isn't always necessarily aligned with the fighter's best interests. He seems to adopt a sink or swim approach which gives fighters opportunities & suits some but not others.
Your final statement is spot on, Keith. It's a tough sport, so perhaps the baptism of fire is the way to go. At least fighters get a shot with Hearn. Some need to progress more steadily, so maybe they need to look elsewhere for opportunities. Although Hearn seems to be the main man in the UK now.I like Hearn's approach. It gives the better fighter a chance to progress their careers quickly, making them money and it makes for interesting fights. Yes, Ritson did get a bit schooled in the end but it was a very decent watch.
I'd rather see that than blokes fighting loads of puddings for years on end.
