Red Dead 2 - No Spoilers

Getting this for my birthday - how do you look and see the size of your memory/hard drive as I know I will need to delete everything to play this monster!

They’re talking about NPC’s having memory of what you did previously in their location. Like someone coming after your for previously killing their wife :lol: Yet you have @UTW telling us that this won’t eclipse Skyrim... “I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee..."

I don't see how that adds any game time? You can play skyrim for 1000 hours then still find something you've never done. Rockstar stories are far too linear. If the game was that big they wouldn't feel the need to cover it up with an online mode

Rewatch the 2 gameplay trailers, and maybe take in some of the feedback from IGN etc who have seen the game. It’s huge and not in a gta v way. This isn’t an empty world with nothing to do.
 
Can you just plug any old external hard drive in? And does it have to be dedicated to just being used for this?

Has to be usb 3 and no bigger than 4gb iirc. It has to be dedicated to the ps4 though can't use it on a pc then ps4 then pc.

Probably, if its digital download but I've never tried it. You would need to log in with your account details though to use it cos the purchase is linked to your account.

It might well be but IGN aren't a great source. If they've incorporated RPG elements then it could be massive. There's no reason to continue playing GTA after the story, if they've change that then fair play
