Hey Cridge

Did the massive club (Datren Bent said villa are a massive club so it must be true) really lose 1-2 at home to Sheffield Wednesday?

Or is my telly playing up and villa won 11-2 .

Can you clarify please?
I wonder if they have MLF who are Early Leavers?

Just thought I'd let you know, a caller to our local radio station BBC WM said "The trouble with Bruce is he hasn't managed a big club like us, he's only managed Wigan, Blues and Sunderland" (didn't mention the mags)

Villa.

Villa like Sunderland owe a lot of their standing in the English game to getting a head start on the clubs who now dominate the game. Both clubs won most of their trophies in the 19th century. The 1890s in other words. Preston are another one. Great clubs of the 20th century who the game has bypassed are Huddersfield Wolves & Newcastle. Everton are a strange one who historically won trophies but dont fit easily into consistent patterns of success until the mid 1980s & basically are mediocre for long periods but not totally rubbish.

Could so easily have been on a winner if the Op had quoted Brucie
'No matter what I do, in some people's eyes I'm not going to be the right fit'

Mebbes diet then yer fat get

Neither Villa, Sheff Wed or ourselves are "massive clubs". All have a good history, but its just that, history! Combined, we haven't won anything of note for over 110 years ffs.
