It's the club making those seats unavailable so they can use them for pay on the gate. What causes the sudden jumps in the bookings?

I'll be there. Made Sheffield and Oxford so far. I think I've truly been drinking the kool aid but I cannot wait. Even the last few results haven't dampened my excitement.
That's how many Mags will be there.8975
That can't be right, they're massive clubs they get much more than that.27729 at Leeds tonight, and 27,991 at Villa tonight,
Anything over 25k in League One is unbelievable support!
Massive potential support Leeds have when you look at population figures.Don't compare Sunderland and Leeds iirc their ticket prices are astronomical
Potential being the correct wording mate, they’ve never had huge crowds, probably due to the rugby element. And I’m pretty sure they were nowt over before Revie took ower.Massive potential support Leeds have when you look at population figures.

Not from me I can't stand the horrible Leeds fuckers.I see the Leeds sympathisers are on.
Good support mate and fair play to you. Anybody can support a Man U, Chelsea or Liverpool. Hopefully you enjoy your day but not the result obviously.Rochdale fan in peace.
I think you're right in saying this is our biggest game of the season. With Oldham and Bury both being relegated last season (such a shame), we have no derbies to look forward to and so a trip to a proper Premier League ground that we've never played at before is an exciting one. I suspect our eventual total will be at around 1,000 which as some have pointed out, is about a third of our home support (we usually get gates of about 2.8k home fans, with the average attendance bumped up significantly by away fans from the bigger clubs we face at this level).
There was a stat somewhere that we actually have the highest percentage of home fans that travel to away games in the Football League. We may number few at home games, perhaps understandably when you consider that two of the biggest clubs in the country sit on our doorstep, we do travel in relatively decent numbers and especially for big games like this one. The fact you are still getting crowds of around 30,000 at this level is frightening and shows what a big club you are.
On a personal note I'm looking forward to this one especially as I spent three years in Sunderland for Uni and loved the place. I've booked a couple of nights and will be taking full advantage of the chance to revisit a few old haunts. During my time in the North East SAFC were a Premier League club and I loved the buzz on the big matchdays in the City. I genuinely hope you get back there soon enough because you've been through enough I reckon in the last few years. I'm not sure if it will be this season, but it won't take long til you're on your way back.
I reckon we can nick a point. I'd take that all day. Up the Dale!
Top man what's you favourite pub in Sunderland city centre?Rochdale fan in peace.
