Rochdale home attendance

And the Fleetwood game was the emptiest this season. I reckon 24-25k there with 28 announced.

So you think out of the school holidays there are 3000 people not going who won’t pass there season tickets on?

I don’t get this train of thought, everyone I know including myself passes tickets onto family and friends when they don’t go.

During the school holidays there were NO spare seats around me in an area that is full of season ticket holders.

I’m going. Leaving Thursday. Not seen us win at home since He who can’t be named scored the winner vs Man City in 2012. Don’t let that put you off.

Unless we embarked on a really impressive run of wins there was always going to be a drop off from 30/31k crowds in this league.

Despite the positivity brought by the new owners, manager and getting rid of the likes of Rodwell, Djilobodji etc, we’re in the third division and haven’t won any of our last four games despite the opposition including Stoke U21’s, Oxford, Fleetwood Town and Burton Albion.

To get anywhere near 28k at home to Rochdale, considering what we’ve been exposed to in recent seasons, is utterly amazing.

good solid 25k, which will be standard all season, rising to 30k for the 'bigger' games and if we are on a winning run.

i find it bizarre that people can't comprehend how we get more fans when we are either (a) playing well, (b) playing in the premier league, (c) playing against a bigger club (d) playing in an important match, and more when a combination of them occurs. its human nature

I'll be there. Made Sheffield and Oxford so far. I think I've truly been drinking the kool aid but I cannot wait. Even the last few results haven't dampened my excitement.

Massive attendance I reckon as Rochdale were ejaculating over the fact that their 2 coaches were full and they were putting an extra 2 on !

Rochdale are a small club surrounded by much larger ones and having been there, they are also a friendly lot. I really don't see the point in bashing smaller clubs for their lack of fans. We are in this division because we couldn't compete on the field in the higher ones and far from criticising Rochdale's away support, we should be thanking and welcoming the ones who do turn up (as I am sure we will).

The percentage of their average home gate they bring up here probably wont be far short and may even exceed the percentage of our home support we take to Coventry.
