As much as Ferrari have cocked up the strategy for today the last 2 seasons have proven that Hamilton is simply a better driver than Vettel.

If ever there was any doubt, yesterday's pole lap was exactly why he's better. He's just capable of squeezing more out of a car than Vettal is, he's in a slower car and keeps going faster.
The very best can win in slower cars, Hamilton is doing that this season, in a way just like Schumacher did it back in his Benetton days

Ended up a very steady away victory.

Those two red bull lady mechanics complete wads.

Vettel had the look of a beaten man this weekend. He'll have always believed he could beat Hamilton, but both yesterday and today looked like he was holding his hands up with the realisation that, not only is Lewis better than him, he's proving it where it counts. Hopefully Lewis can close it out with a couple of races to spare.

I think he's more narked off with his teams strategy choices to be honest.

I'm still amazed he has 4 championships tbh, I really do think (i'm no expert btw) that there are a few drivers better than Vettel on the grid.

Alonso deserved the title in 2010 and 2012. Vettel was great in the Red Bull days of sticking it on pole and just driving off into the distance. He’s a great driver but he’s a tier behind Hamilton and Alonso.

Little fact also, he’s never won a Grand Prix when he’s started outside the top three

That’s unreal, didn’t know that

the recent f1 podcast with mark webber talked about that, how when everything was on an even keel then vettel was untouchable - but add a little bit of disruption to the mix and then he wasnt able to handle it. although, you don't win 4 world championships without being decent, if nothing else it highlights perhaps that alonso has wasted his own talents?

Alonso definitely burned his bridges, especially with Ferrari. There’s a bit of discontent showing at the moment between Vettel and Arrivebene as well so hopefully he doesn’t get forced out like Alonso did.

He's changed teams too many times through either bottling it (leaving mclaren end of 2007) or on the basis of absolutely awful advice (going back to mclaren) to the point he cannot help to build relationships and develop cars.

Interesting recently hearing from both himself and horner that Red Bull had discussions with him before the 2009 season, makes you think what could have been if he'd ended up there - you'd potentially be looking at a 6 time (at least) world champion and vettel may never have been called up from torro rosso.

Arrivebene won't see Christmas as Ferrari boss.

This Vettel sniping at Scuderia Ferrari is undermining Arrivebene's position and there's bott all he can do about it.

The inevitable new man at Ferrari will then wrestle with the all powerful Vettel and the Ferrari team will implode as usual.

Book mark it.

Some of the tracks are crap like, usually the newer ones.
I’m not a fan of the Singapore GP, would love to see the return of the Nurburgring (old one), Argentina and San Marino.

Looking forward to the Japanese GP shortly.

Or Vettel is under pressure from the beginning of 2019 from upstart Leclerc, folds even quicker than he did when Ricciardo rolled up at Red Bull, and Arrivabene signs Max Verstappen for 2020, leaving Vettel to see out his years at Sauber or Williams.

Don't bookmark it. Just an amusing thought.

Agree on all of them, sadly we'll never see the old Nordschleife used again. Argentina will surely be pushing to have theirs back at some point, and Imola would be fantastic to see again. It's a bit like the Hungaroring, not set up to create endless overtaking, but enough to create opportunities, then it's up to the drivers to take them and make them count. It almost always delivered a good race as well, also like the Hungaroring.
