So no video of racist incidents mentioned on here. No photos of racist idiot(s). No confirmation any of these racist idiot(s) were reported to a copper or steward...

Actually agree with this sentiment though not necessarily going along with your thoughts. If OP was that offended he should have reported it there and then if he was that outraged

He obviously wasnt.

You don’t understand what the right to free speech means. It entails protection from government interference in whatever you have to say. It does not mean that you can wander round at football games, the streets or online making racist comments and feel you should not be called out on it and castigated. I am 100% behind the Op here

A reasonable point, but not everyone feels as if they want to be confrontational with a racist.
Perhaps the OP feels as if he has brought it to people's attention this way.
Fair enough.

From a personal point of view I was in the North Stand when a bloke behind me started calling Bellion (playing for us) a black bastard.
I had had enough and got up, he was already on his feet, about 4 inches taller than me and had a ring through his nose.
I thought "aw bollocks", but was on my feet by then and not about to back down.

I said "You f***ing racist tossa".

He said "I might be a tosser", but ImI not a racist.

Generally, arguing with a racist one on one is pointless. You are not going to change his point of view.

It should be done if people are around, so they know they can't get away with it and are shouted down

It seems to me that happened today, and the OP has also brought it to people's attention on this board.
