He on the other hand has made his position untenable if he quits it will shatter the myth that is Rafa Benitez, on the other hand Ashley will let him sit with no money because the fans love him. To me he is showing that without a big war chest he is mediocre

Of course Rafa is right. If they had scored more goals that the opposition they would have won all 4 games.
He needs to learn that to achieve that you first have to have possession of the ball and then you have to get in the opponent's half. After that you have to have a shot at the opponent's goal.
All these have been missing from his tactical master strategies to date, but he's such a genius he will learn this eventually.

Tbf I think most of the piss taking came from that dreadful article in the chronicle about how the championship was actually a better league due to dwarfication or some shite. You won’t find many arguments that getting beat regularly is more enjoyable than winning games regularly regardless of leveL.
