Should it be deliberated. BHN is like TSR, Graceland, Thriller, compared to that.
I drop their other gear in the dustbin, with the banana peels and tea bags.

I think it needs more reprises though, to tag more minutes on to the running time.

Good album IMO. Mind you can definitely tell they were off their face recording it, I’m sure one of the songs has an absolute ridiculous amount of guitars mixed over one another, think it might be My Big Mouth. Mind it’s nothing on their first two albums, especially Definitely Maybe which is by far the best. Top three albums for me at DM, What’s the Story and the Masterplan.

Not as bad as made out, but also not as good as its predecessors. If the songs had been edited effectively it'd be a good album. Magic Pie, its getting better man, be here now all about 3 minutes too long.

The 2016 remastering of DYKWIM was great. The strings and bass on it sounded class.

Overall an ok album which serves a purpose.

Aye it's shorter and the sound was remixed so you can actually hear the bass and strings. It's basically what the song would have been had Noel not been high as a kite on coke during production.

Noel was going to remaster the entire album and re-release it but after doing D'you know what I mean he changed his mind and thought the album should stay as it is. IMO I wish he'd finished it because I really think in amongst the shocking amounts of overblown guitar riffs and poor sound quality at times there is a really good album in there. It's a good album anyway but it could have been a lot better with a sober mind working on it.

Needs to be 20-30 minutes shorter. That album is what cocaine sounds like. Someone should have reined them in.
