Bad. He’s too old. James Bond isn’t black either. Would seem odd. Can’t imagine Roger Moore playing John Shaft.

It really doesn't matter. Bond is up there with Mission: Impossible, Bourne, XXX, Spy Kids etc as just another movie franchise.

no problem with a black bond, really wouldnt bother me if the movie is good enough...but Idris Elba is too old now
