Save Seaburn

Apologies thought you were part of the family business. Panic over.

Well his business is within hundred yards or the estate so I’d say he does have something to do with it. Also we all are affected by Northumbria water especially in this instance so not sure of your point there? Admiteddley have no idea about the EU episode but good on him. Bit ott calling him a loon when he’s researched it and holds a different opinion.
He is in south Tyneside and he’s in the fish business.

His opinion counts for shit when the EU have told him he’s wrong

He should have blocked the homes at Whitburn...that’s his patch

I’m sure you know what you’re talking about so I’ll leave you to it.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they did manage to block the initial application, but Miller will just appeal and eventually it will get the go ahead.

The residents would be much better working with Miller then against them.
Perhaps Kath could negotiate to have a Highbury north bank mural put up of her view. Complete with bench and little spots of dog shit.

South Bents is as much Whitburn if not more than it is Seaburn. Either way it’s ridiculous to suggest someone feet away is irrelevant. We aren’t exactly talking about a Northern Ireland style hard border separating the two council lines. He has business interests why would he oppose plans for potential new customers?!

As I say I don’t know much what the EU would have to do with this, it’s a local issue.

That development was 6 homes, not 64 and less impact on the local environment. As much as I think it looks a shame when you see them from Whitburn cricket club now.

South Bents is clearly Seaburn.

It’s nothing to do with Bob Latimer. He also objected to Fat Buddha...was that related to drainage too?

The only reason the EU got involved is that he raised it to their attention when he got short shrift from local and central government (who also told him he was wrong)

South Bents is South Bents, Whitburn to most Seaburn to some.

I have no idea of the relevance, though I think everyone was disappointed with the block design of the fat Buddha building, or lack of.

South Bents is Seaburn to all non-morons

Bob Latimer has no say in anything to do with Sunderland

Let's settle this with a fact, shall we?
The border betwixt Sunderland and South Tyneside is just south of Latimers, as one gets to the Fisherman's Cottages (The Bents).
Therefore, the seafood place is in South Tyneside. Ergo, he is part of Whitbutn.
South Bents is part of Sunderland, so it is part of Seaburn.

It’s a shame their engagement strategy fell off a cliff.

All the people who disapprove of tomfoolery are over 75 and don’t use the internet
