German cuisine

Probably the only cuisine in the world that is worse than native British, and at least we had the excuse of many things not being available on our island in long gone times. But even a roast dinner is better than owt they have to offer.

How many items on a roast dinner are native to Britain?

Disagree. But it's a close one. Its probably one of the reasons why Germany as a place is favoured by the least adventurous Brits.

You do love highlighting your lack of ability to think sometimes, don’t you?

Regardless of all of good things about Germany, the food is terrible, so limited. Second only to Scandinavia, particularly Finland.

It’s class, I love it. Went to Germany on a free corporate trip and was plied with booze a class food for 3 days.

Food in Sweden was shite, but loved German food, didn’t find it limited at all.

If you fly into Berlin, there's an old train carriage which has been converted to a currywurst stall just outside of the airport arrivals. That, according to some German colleagues, is the best currywurst place in Germany.
It's very good. When I was there on a school trip I extolled the virtues of the currywurst to all the kids but we didn't stumble on a good one till we went there just prior to leaving.
