Found it's usually pubs in Zone's 1 & 2 on the tube map that are expensive, although Sam Smith's pubs are usually cheap. The downside is the beer's a bit shite.

The Pilsner was a canny pint.

Id say, very very roughly mind, that pint averages down there have risen from 4.50 to a fiver in the last year or so while decent NE bars have gone from £3 to £4.50
The gap isnt huge but they havent got the luxury of workies clubs etc if a cheap ones required.

Seen loads of WM/Social clubs around Fareham way while out on me bike, which surprised me as it's a very true-blue Tory area. Never went in any mind.

time the myth was put to bed. Was in a very nice pub next to the shard last week, 2 peroni a tenner, only 20 pence less than my fecking hartlepool local.

So many craft lagers on tap in many. Camden hells and meantime are over a fiver.

Rare to find guiness over a fiver still.

Camden is always over a fiver. It's bang average as well.

Some of the prices in Sam Smith's pubs these days are extortion. Bottle of Taddy Porter (lovely stuff like) is between £4-5 even in some pubs in the NE.

I think only one of my locals is still independent. The chains have most and there's a bloke owns about 4 around blackheath now.
