How irresponsible are people who have no control dogs like this?
They really shouldn't be allowed dogs. It could easily been a child mauled.

It's sad for the owners of the killed dog. More needs to be done by the law to stop dangerous dogs failing into irresponsible owners hands

You are correct. I’m becoming increasingly ambivalent to this sort of thing now as it’s becoming too common place and the way it’s received by the general populace is to have an extreme opinion at either side of right.

They are nearly always mastiffs or pit bull terriers involved in these type of attacks.
Why people have these type of dogs as "pets" is a mystery to me.

Our lass knows the lass who's dog was killed, she had her young son with her and he saw it all.

Passers by stopped their cars to assist the lass and only when someone hit the dog with a hammer did it let go, too late though as the dog was dead.
