Look, I get that his job is to make the right noises, get the fans behind the project and hopefully create better times for the club. He certainly is accomplishing the first two if the response on here is anything to go by.

That said, there's absolutely no need to make up some utter horseshit about Newcastle to pander to the masses. It's both cringeworthy and unprofessional.......and that goes for any of our players/owners saying disparaging things about Sunderland.
The newcastke comment is interesting...and one that cant be easily disproved. Spoken in the context it was as a senior executive of safc its easy to contextualize it as mere propaganda..
But like most propaganda it may have a basis in truth.

Either way its rattled mags well played charlie... welcome to the feud

Your representatives have been doing it for decades man.

Why does Bruce mention Sunderland again, why does Micky Quinn still laugh at us on the radio, Joey Barton still refer to 5-1, Manquillo and Yedlin talk about their time here. Why are you so bothered. The fact remains they are rivals and a new owner wants to endear himself to us. I also fail to see why so many SAFC fans want to appear so balanced they turn into fannies and get offended over nothing
You’re clearly more bothered about this than I am. Not being a fanny at all, just don’t think they were needed to be mentioned that’s all. Who gives a fuck about them when we have so much positivity atm.

Ellis wearing his FTM badge was in direct response to your fat cockney wanker doing the conga round the room at Sid James in front of Ellis.

Ashley is well known for being a classless oaf, I dont think you'd find many Newcastle fans who would say otherwise. No need to stoop down to his level which is what Short did, and exactly what Tim Nice-But-Dim appears to be doing.

Why do you care?

Hi Reggie. Been busy on here the last few days? You seem full of pent up energy!

Not sure why he’d be offended on our behalf, seems strange a Mag would care if we were making ourselves look daft
I think we have another one losing the plot. The rate of attrition has risen sharply recently.

Your lot did it for years. Even wore a jacket with “over the wall” on it

To be fair most of the mags I know who go to games are sound, others do tend to be obsessed with spending money / being a big club.

Newcastle have this fragile monstrous ego that means it's never enough for them to be doing well, everyone around them has to be doing badly. You see it in the media, in local politics, and definitely among their triggered, emotionally damaged football supporters. They can't bear anyone else to have a moment of success, it makes them so bitter they can't enjoy anything they have going for them. They're the Donald Trump of football.

If we start winning games this coming season they're going to lose their shit. About results in league 1. They're an absolute basket case

:cool::cool::cool:

So it’s always been a club that I’ve been somewhat fond of from an early age — for some reason I’ve always had an antipathy towards Newcastle. I mean that wasn’t a determining factor in this, but it does mean I’ve always had a slight soft spot for Sunderland because I’ve always found Newcastle to be a rather arrogant club.
He is good at PR isn’t he? Top notch.
