By the way, I thought our forum was bloody mental. I'm stuck on a train so thought, out of sheer boredom, I'd see if the Ipswich forum had any mention of Ross. It does like, about a thousand threads all with about two replies about him and/ or SAFCYou must be logged on to see external links

Mick McCarthy, just to get us back up & competing in the championship. Huge risk this manager.
You're right, he hasn't done f*ck all, he's done pretty good in his management career thus far.He hasn't done fuck all, never manager in england, hasnt got any contracts in the game and haway lets get ready to see loads of Scottish players signing for us. f***ing great.
Newcastle will go down next season and rafa will walk.
Well it was Appleton yesterday for a start...
If you see a pair of eyes behind a palm tree in Alicante next week.....Oh aye.
Anyway, stop stalking me.
Taking the safe option has been shite recently.Put simply it's a gamble.
f***ing hell man, how far have we fallen when Ipswich fans are aghast that a manager chooses us over them
If we had a cup final between the 2 clubs and it was played in Norwich we would have the majority of the crowd. f***ing turnip munching nonces
Lets all just calm down aye. It's a promising appointment but don't build it up and expect too much.
Either Jack RWho the fuk is Jack Ross?

What reasons for leaving?I think Jack has the potential to be a great appointment. He was a very highly thought of coach at Hearts with the intention of him being a future first team coach/manager, but he ended up leaning for personal reasons.
He transformed the St Mirren team that was basically heading for automatic relegation just over a year ago. With 5 games left they were bottom (10th) but finished 7th, 6 points clear of bottom and evaded the relegation playoff on goal difference. It doesn't sound that exciting, but the transformation really was incredible.
This season his St Mirren side won the Championship relatively comfortably, in what is generally a pretty competitive league (similar to its English namesake).
This video's well worth a watch if folk haven't already seen it, from the bought he won the Scottish Manager of the Year award, particularly with what Lewis Morgan said about him:

Chris Coleman > Jack Ross.
Mick on record saying he is looking for Championship or Premier league club.Mick McCarthy, just to get us back up & competing in the championship. Huge risk this manager.
