I honestly couldn't give a shite about the fees. I just want players that will be a success.
.

Don’t you think there was a correlation between numbers recruited and fees paid last summer. I think the 14 signings being suggested by the new owner could be a very big mistake personally.

You said you know nothing about him. If you know nothing about something then how can you have an opinion on it? Well, an opinion that anybody should take remotely seriously.

Perhaps if he was worth knowing about, I'd know about him? Like a number of other managers linked with the job.

MM is yesterday's man and we know he can't cut it at a higher level.

Jack Ross took over St Mirren when they were bottom by 10 points and then won the league at a canter this season playing attacking football.

I'm much more keen for us to try and push on with a fresh manager with some new ideas who doesn't have a track record of eventual failure at every job he's ever had. Ross and Hurst both tick those boxes, as did Wilder.

He’s an interesting candidate that’s for sure but those shenanigans at Hartlepool are deeply worrying.

Of course you do. You've decided everything they do is a mistake already. Having looked at our squad and the retained list and those likely to be moved on it's looking like we have hardly any choice but to bring in loads of players. It isn't ideal but the ticket office staff will have to put their boots on after a few injuries.

Yep, if you don't know about something then it's not worth knowing.

Firstly regarding MM, we don't need him to cut it at a higher level.

With regards to Jack Ross, I suppose it speaks volumes of the profile of Scottish Football that myself and I'm sure others didn't notice? Yet since I posted, everyone is a Jack Ross expert.

Far from it....everything they’ve said I’m fine with bar the amount of potential signings for the likely available budget and everything they’ve actually done...,getting rid of of Coleman and Bain I’m very happy with.

The difference between you and I is that I would like to see the new owners really impose themselves on the club and you’re an anal retentive who’s happy to be served more misery.

I would like to see the owners impose themselves and change the culture of the club. I renew year in, year out, for the last 19 years (even bought another one this year taking the total to 3) in the hope that I can cheer on a team to be proud of. The one addicted to misery is you. Even with this slight relief from the shite of recent years you can't muster any hope or enthusiasm. It's quite sad and I'd be asking myself, "what's the point?"

I know nothing about Ross, but a look at Scottish Daily Record website it say he has already had talks with us and is a strong contender. That’s all.

When you’ve done another 11 years to bring you up to the 30 I had as a season ticket holder then feel free to comment and do you really think this thread is a “misery” thread...,the only misery is from the likes of you desperate not to change your “matchday experience”

The new owner says it’s “totally unacceptable” that we’re in L1 so I’d imagine nothing less than automatic promotion is the target this season.

It’s a weird paradox on here where a lot of posters are preaching a parsimonious approach and you feel they’d be happy with a five year plan to exit L1 while paying peanuts and attracting monkeys. Suppose you see these types in everyday life too....squirrelling away every penny and leading a life of drudgery in the hope that at 65 some remarkable new world will be opened up to them.
I certainly didn't squirrel away every penny or lead a life of drudgery but I'm so pleased I had the foresight to live within my means and provide for my retirement.

I'd change my matchday experience at the drop of hat. We used to all go out before, after and have a bit of optimism. Recently we've trudged up at 14:59 and went straight home like zombies. I didn't say this thread was misery. You are making more stuff up, squire. Bit of a habit you have there.

During his spell outside professional footballing and attended university in between, he achieved an Honours degree in Economics from , Edinburgh in 1998.

That fact there nails it on.

What’s made up...are you referring to the numbers earlier?

You sound like a squirreler to me mate....squirrelers never admit they’ve lived a life of drudgery. That weekend break in Margate doesn’t constitute a life lived.

There's no way we should be in League 1 next season.

I'm not sure what you're point is about the profile of Scottish football? It's shite because you don't follow it?

According to Keef

I understand Sunderland have agreed terms with St Mirren boss Jack Ross to become their new manager. Ross was Manager of the Year in Scotland this season.
