Southampton fans thought they would progress after they got rid of Puel, look where that nearly got them. Too many delusional supports these days.
No they wanted to progress. They didn't. It happens.
That doesn't mean they should be happy with something they weren't happy with.

Progress to where exactly? There are only 6 places available in Europe and two of those no fucker wants as clubs in this country think the Europa League is below them. The league is dominated by the top 4 and it is very difficult to break into that group without being highly financed or having a fluke season like Leicester. There is ambition then there is delusion and these clubs that sack their managers in a heartbeat when they are stable and midtable suffer from the latter.

Progress from watching football that was/is dull. They'd played good stuff up until Puel under Pocch and Koeman. I don't blame fans for wanting to see good football. I know I'm sick of us being shit and being pretty boring.

Bet they won’t!

They’ve got easily the 7th best squad in the league and an owner willing to pump good amount of money into the club.
watch this space and the owners wont put big money in,its a a closed shop the top 6 why risk meltdown for 7th spot, get real, lets hope our neibours try ,and its a hatrick

Allardyce is a wanker , but I do think it’s pathetic the way the Everton fans are going on, always thought they knew their place in the football pyramid which is a place above where they are at in the league now, nobody going to Everton can get them higher than 7th unless they are going to start spending hundreds of millions. They would be 7th next year under Allardyce and will be 7th next year under whoever they appoint. They should go for Dyche but I have a feeling he won’t be a fancy enough name for the supporters.
Remember remember
2016 and Leicester

Leicester only won as no one competed for the title that season. Very poor effort, it should have been Spurs but they bottled it at the end.

 what the fuck?

they lost 2 games all season and won by 10 points.

Planet you living on?

nobody bottled anything, they were the best team in the country that season by a f***ing country mile

They still spent over £20m on three players and £44m on another. If you’re spending that kind of money you expect to push on in the league. Imo Koeman built a squad where he couldn’t fit everyone in attacking wise and they were too one paced and predictable.

They lost their main striker and then spent the proceeds - did you expect Liverpool to 'push on' after losing Suarez? I didn't.
So why expect Everyon to 'push on' after losing Lukaku?
