It’s time to get behind Chris Coleman

Coleman has been hopeless. As my Mam said this morning, she literally could have done the same job for free. She wouldn't have been any worse anyway.

I’d stick with him as id hope he has identified what we need for next season from our squad which gives him a head start on anyone else but all this bollocks about hands being tied doesn’t wash mind. He’s been every bit as poor as Grayson. It’s his job to improve players and he hasn’t done it so far.
This...

I don't know how anyone can look at our three keepers and blame Coleman like . Obviously he's made mistakes but we need to keep a manager for more than 1 season ffs.

I'm still behind him. He walked into an absolute shitstorm from top to bottom. Granted he hasn't done much better result wise than Grayson, but there comes a time when you have to back someone and give them time to rebuild the club. We have been guilty of short term thinking for too long and that's partly why our squad is the shambles that it is, chopping and changing constantly and each new manager having their own ideas.

I like Coleman, he speaks well and passionately about the club and its hard to judge him on this season because of all the other factors involved. He deserves a chance to build for next season, hopefully with a new owner and some financial backing.

He hasn’t done a very good job but his hands were tied. I don’t think he’s going anywhere, so despite what you want, bitching and moaning won’t achieve anything. Suppport him and see where we are come October time.
This, but unfortunately that won’t stop some here moaning

If he's any good another team will come in for him now, he ain't so he will stay.
Will be interesting at the Roker hotel in a couple of weeks time to hear the bullshit coming out of his and Bairns mouth.

I hope he leaves. Likeable bloke but somehow managed to make us worse with his Jan signings and has done a pretty poor job since he came in, I also think he is ill-equipped to manage in League One and I don't trust him to bring in the players we need

His hands were very much tied in Jan but it's beyond belief he managed to bring in a centre half worse than Wilson, centre mid worse than anyone else we have, striker worse than Vaughan and keeper worse than Camp

The only reason I can think of keeping Coleman is we will probably fuck up when appointing his successor

We'll not get any better manager in our situation mind. We've got an international/ prem league manager. Who do you think will replace him in the 3rd division. If you think Grayson was underwhelming, he's a superstar compared to what we'd be getting.
What drugs are you taking mate?

Lacks the nous to rebuild from that league imo, lacks the balls to go for it when required, insufficient grit to mix it up in our new league.

Not the answer imo.

He walked into an absolute shitstorm from top to bottom.
Did he? What was this "shitstorm" he walked into?

He took over a struggling side and he knew he wasn't going to get any money, so he was fully aware of what he was getting into.

The excuses are wearing thin now, he hasn't had it any harder than half a dozen other championship managers, but they've all outperformed him easily.

Heard him on Radio 5 this morning saying he didn’t know whether he would be here next season.

I've been on the fence, but we need a fresh start, hopefully new owners will appoint their own man

We are going to get relegated on a ridiculously low points total compared to other seasons, that is the most shameful part

He has been just as bad as Grayson, there really is no defence for him

Its a tough job but we aren't unique, there are shit loads of clubs, and have been shit loads of clubs with financial problems in this league, that is the way it is, it wasn't an impossible job.

Nah mate, he isn't cut out for it, managers with more know how could have done a much better job

On what basis do you want him to stay ahead of Grayson?

Chopping and changing, we have sacked 1 managers in 3 years.

He's done a pathetic job, there's no reason whatsoever to expect different from him next season. I'd get behind the useless fucka to boot him and his hopeless staff out of the door. If we are taken over nobody in their right mind would keep him he's done Zilch to deserve more time. Absolutely bot all except spout inane waffle.

So by knowing he wasn't getting any money to spend should of made him do better? Have you seen the shit on the pitch he has had to work with....the individual errors by different players. Even the loan signings in January were not his 1st or even 2nd choice. They gave him fuck all to spend. At least he wanted to come here and yes he has made mistakes but which manager hasn't? This is an opportunity for a clean slate...a manager already here knowing the shit that he wants rid of. A new bloke coming in will have to start the wedding out process all over again. I for 1 would love him to stay and rebuild. Next season will be time to judge hopefully under new ownership

I can see both sides of the argument.

His hands were tied and he walked into an absolute shit storm, with a squad full of fannies, so probably feels he deserves the chance to totally rebuild.

However, his tactics and subs have been rank at times which have cost us massively and that’s all on him.
He'll get binned whether we get took over or not. Has been as bad if not worse than Larry Grayson, no excuses whatsoever kept picking the same useless spineless bassas week after week.

The Leicester team that got relegated to league 1 had players like Gareth McAuley, Richard Stearman, David Bell, Matt Oakley, Matty Fryatt, Steve Howard , Stephen Clemence and Ian Hume, a team on paper that should of not gone down.

Ian Holloway was sacked, harshly some may say, but it needed a fresh face, with a fresh approach

Mandaric opted for Nigel Pearson and he cleared the dead wood out, mainly the over paid piss takers, and got a lot of loanees in like Tom Cleverly, Wayne Brown, Jack Hobbs, Mark Davies, he also signed a promising centre back Micheal Morrison and Lloyd Dyer.

We never looked back, all the doom and gloom vanished and we went up as champions, the following season we got to the play offs, but lost to Cardiff if my memory serves me right.

As for you guys it’s a bit different, I heard yesterday that Coleman doesn’t even talk to his chairman, hasn’t spoke since November, that can’t be right, I must be hearing things.

If that’s right your chairman should sell up and go, he is obviously the one to blame, it must be hard for Coleman to try and manage a club when the chairman has no interest.

From an outside view surely Coleman der serves a chance on that evidence, and as someone who has experienced league 1 recently, it’s not all that bad

You actually start winning games and you get to go to away grounds you probably never would of.

I've used my eyes marra, Coleman is as crap at managing as some of the players are at football yet he kept picking them.

He knew he would get no money so if he didn’t think he could keep us up he shouldn't have took the job.

He'll have no money to spend next season. If he stays we'll be miles away from promotion. He needs to resign or be sacked because we need to get instant promotion. We could stagnate in league one and remain there for years if we don't get promoted at the first attempt.
