Honestly man, they sat down before the meeting and decided what positivity they could take to the fans.

The safety bloke thinks that the fact we now allow elderly or infirm fans to use a lift to access the upper floors of a very tall building is progressive. Bain thought of clackers.

Lee Camp trying to gather a shot is a perfect reflection of what is going on behind the scenes. Thanks to those who take time to sit and listen to their bollocks

What would you suggest? It's fine getting angry but it helps no-one if you don't offer alternatives.

I was pretty vocal in the last thread and managed to get myself locked from the thread for arguing with @Ghandi Floss, so I'm not kissing arse here, but I think RAWA handled themselves well in that meeting and gained some valuable info. Apart from getting more fans through the door there's not much you can do to improve the atmosphere. Apart from winning f***ing games there's not much you can do to improve positivity either.

A few points were brought up with the club and they've addressed those points. What more do you want? It's their 2nd meeting ffs. The club were open and honest, they didn't hide, Bain sat there and answered whatever was put to him. Bain isn't the villain here. Since the meeting 7 days ago the club have already made changes by the sounds of it. RAWA did its job.

It seems that some people are never happy whatever you do. People lambast Short for putting us in debt, the same people then ask.. "duhhh why don't we have transfer funds?".

It's damned if you do, damned if you don't with us man.

I certainly wasn't having a pop at the process, it's great that they're meeting and talking but the fact that they believe allowing a pensioner to use a lift is progress and worth flagging has to be a worry because it shows how low the bar is set.

Bain is a fraud. Everything he has touched has turned to shit. Having Bain as CEO is the same level as having Camp in goal, that's where we are and as a result we will be competing with Accrington Stanley next season.

Unfortunately all the stuff about the customer experience is just bollocks. Bottle that night v Everton and that's the experience they want and it can only be achieved on the pitch. How we get there I don't know, how we get there I don't care........

Alas, I wasn't there (squad rotation) so I obviously can't give very insightful answers to any queries, but I'll try my best.
Personally, I feel what we got out of them about the club seemingly being on the verge of a takeover is the news/lift the whole place needs.

At a future meeting could standing be brought up? Now we are in L1 we are allowed a standing section. That could improve the atmosphere

From what I was told, it was revealed after Fulwell73 were asked to leave the room. Not sure why.

The way I see the meeting, (and I'm obviously gonna be a bit biased now I'm part of the group), is that the main objective of the RAWA was to become a bridge between the club/fans, and make sure we all have a voice within our club.
Raking over the utter ineptitude of the last several years probably isn't as important at present as finding out what the near future holds.
It sounds like concrete offers for the club hinge on which league we find ourselves in in the summer.
I think both groups were sending out their feelers and all were weighing each other up.
From what MB said those rumours on the SNQ thread may well be true but obviously a lot of negotiating still to be done and for the winner to emerge.
MB did appear rather quickly to allow a rep on the board or did I pick that up wrong

It's unfortunate that the minutes obviously have to start with the "trivial" (in the grand scheme of things) issues as that's what was being discussed in front of the film crew - I completely understand the reason behind it etc - It's bound to give people the wrong impression of the meeting though, and plenty of people will be getting more and more annoyed as they're reading through it - some people will even stop reading I reckon

However, at least these discussions are happening - people kicking off because the representatives from the supports groups aren't asking "why's camp so shit?" or "the fuck are you doing about this shit team?" etc obviously haven't been to constructive meetings in their lives.

I'm sure we'd all like to rant at everyone, but at the end of the day, its about trying to bring the club and supporters closer together, in order to work together in the future - Ranting and criticising wont do that, it'll only bring more distance.

Hopefully one of the takeovers goes through and we get to move on - these meetings could become vastly more important after the takeover IMHO.

They can only answer questions that were put to them tbf. Nobody mentioned Rodwell or L1 by the looks of it. These meetings are often boring, and it's only the 2nd meeting remember. I'm sure the next set of questions will be harder considering we could be relegated tomorrow.

I disagree. Given the circumstances I think he's done everything asked of him.

Unfortunately all the stuff about the customer experience is just bollocks.
Again, that's what was asked so that's what was answered. I agree, it's not very helpful to us able bodied folk, but those with disabilities might be glad to know that improvements have been made re: stewards. I can't believe the steward didn't know there was a lift 2ft behind him.

That's up to us to put bums on seats imo. If nobody turns up the atmo will be dead. Not alot Bain or anyone can do about that.

HTL.

When I read the complaints in this thread the following is what I think those complaining want, how Bain would obviously reply and the end result.

"Can you tell us the exact details and names of everyone involved with the sale of the club and any potential buyers'

"Of course not."

"Well RAWA is just a big wast of time wah wah wah"

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I may be the only person that doesn’t have a particular dislike for Martin Bain. He’s the fella taking the brunt of an accumulation of clusterfucks over a decade. Only he isn’t really able to offer any funds to the managers he has appointed. He’s made some mistakes but I think he’s always been fairly honest about the situation at the club. And I get the feeling Short has moved the goalposts on a few occasions making Bain look a mug.

It all comes back round to not much is going to get better until new owners have come in. At the moment there is no money for anything.

Clackers/clappers

Gerrin

It’s the absolute lowest of the f***ing low. Tragic!
