RAWA RAWA/Club Meeting Minutes

Alas, I wasn't there (squad rotation) so I obviously can't give very insightful answers to any queries, but I'll try my best.
Personally, I feel what we got out of them about the club seemingly being on the verge of a takeover is the news/lift the whole place needs.

Thanks for posting mate.
Agree the proposed sale would be the lift we all need. The problem is I just don’t believe Anything that Bain says. He is completely untrustworthy.
And the worrying thing is regarding next season as it looks like if the sale doesn't happen then we are in dire straits as Short will, at best, only fund the day to day running of the club. Which means any chance of investing in the playing staff to get us promoted looks highly unlikely.
It’s going to be a very long, hard summer.

Going to be honest I'm pretty disappointed with that summary.

Bain just seems to pass the buck for anything bad. The agents fees for example. Was he pushed on the point, particularly given how high our spend is compared to the rest of the division? Or just allowed to effectively blame Byrne again?

what was the reply to the question about the Rodwell situation that must have been asked

Worked for Leicester apparently marra...I seriously hope he didn't use them as the example because"they won the league"

Was there for the Newcastle game. The clackers are pathetic as fuck and the away fans were still louder than them. They had fireworks before the f***ing game aswell and it was cringe. Im hoping that is just for the owners fake birthday.

I'm confused about that AS it's just a little footnote

From what I was told, it was revealed after Fulwell73 were asked to leave the room. Not sure why.

The way I see the meeting, (and I'm obviously gonna be a bit biased now I'm part of the group), is that the main objective of the RAWA was to become a bridge between the club/fans, and make sure we all have a voice within our club.
Raking over the utter ineptitude of the last several years probably isn't as important at present as finding out what the near future holds.
It sounds like concrete offers for the club hinge on which league we find ourselves in in the summer.

I went to watch the New York Knicks last week and we could learn a lot from for the yanks entertain the crowd. I was particularly fond of the troop of scantily clad ladies performing a gymnastics routine to music and pyrotechnics at half time.

I liked the suggestion of fans voting for the kit. Didn't we do that previously in 1999?

Yes we did we voted for 99/00 kit, the first season we finished 7th, did the same a few years later but that one is remembered for Different reasons and that was the away kit
