What a way for Scotland to miss out.. a shocking decision that made them fall behind on D/L just before rain intervened
 
Terrible losing like that. Feel really sorry for them, they looked all day like knocking that off. Should have at least taken a point each
 
What a way to go out. Heartbreaking for the Scottish lads. Just shows the BCCI's folly. Now 3 perfectly respectable sides won't be at the World Cup. Growing the game my ar5e.
 
Zimbabwe are 7/1 chasing 230 in 40 overs. Glimmer of hope for Afghanistan/Ireland?

Now 18/2, need another 212 at over a run a ball

I thought at the start of the last round of matches that Zimbabwe were safesince they were facing the weakest opponent, and that WI would be the one missing out.

Might be reversed..

What a game this is turning out to be!

Scenarios for tomorrow:
Ireland win = Ireland qualify
Afghanistan win = Afghanistan qualify
Washed out = Ireland qualify on net run rate
Game tied = ?? Depending on the score, it could conceivably drop Ireland’s NRR below Zimbabwe, who would then qualify

Correction: If Afg / Ireland are tied, then the score does not matter. It's the number of overs that does
If the game is tied AND it's a curtailed game of 25 overs or less, Ireland's net run rate stays above Zimbabwe's.

Gutted for Zim. They've hosted the tournament well. Hoping Ireland make it now.
 
Aye. But there's so many teams I want to go through for various reasons. WI, Zimbabwe, Ireland, Scotland and Afghanistan all have strong claims to be there. I know it's been said many times before but it's scandalous, especially as it's mainly because of what FTBCCI want.

Nope. Love the game, suck at it. Always stuck in goal, growing up. Became half-decent when I grew up, although never good enough even for my school team. Did save a penalty once, though
