Impressive mind.

What is your opinion on Kevin Pieterson?

Darn it man, you're derailing my workday.. I've never been accused of being someone else, so this is kind of funny and frustrating at the same time, can't seem to stay away!

Didn't really see too much of him. Moved to the US well before he came on the scene. Other than the odd highlight here and there and a few world cup matches, not a whole lot of cricket coverage. Good stats. Seems like the Aussies would have loved him if he had opted to play for them instead of England. You folks seem to be divided, some love him, some hate him. Certainly enough controversy to go around

A better person than Alan Shearer though.

I honestly don't know that much about Alan Shearer. I know he's universally disliked here, but not having any first-hand knowledge of English culture, not sure if it's because he is/was an a-hole or if it's because he played for Newcastle. I'll take your word for it. Funnily enough, before Jozy signed, I didn't even pay that much attention to EPL, was more of a Serie A guy. Juventus (esp Buffon). Had such high hopes for Jozy. Thought that after his season with AZ he was ready to make a step up. Was thoroughly disappointed to find out EPL was way above his level. But I'm stuck with Sunderland. Don't know why.

I do

One put his heart and soul into the cause for many years without thinking of the financial rewards. The other was Alan Shearer.

I'm assuming that by that you mean 'a true supporter would say SAFC'
I counter with I'm not a Sunderland-raised person, so apologies if I get the terminology wrong. When you are late to the party, there are bound to be nuances you miss. This is likely one of them

If that's not what you mean, I have no clue

Are you close to a team in America?

Closest team is DC United. Been to RFK a few times when they still played there, but never really quite grew on me so can't honestly say i'm a supporter. I might go again this year once they finally move to the new stadium.
Have started watching baseball, though.. closest thing to cricket. Love the Orioles. Go O's

Good one

Ok, it's 5 pm and I'm headed home. Have fun folks!
And I'm rooting for Afghanistan tomorrow. Nothing against the Irish, but what a turnaround it will be for them. Lost their captain to appendicitis, down and out in the group stages, just squeaked through to the super sixes because Nepal took down Hong Kong. And now poised to qualify for the World cup!

Only fours hours behind? Are you on a ship?
