Correct, we are actually one of the poorest regions in the country. And that is the problem that any owner current or future must face when deciding if we are viable as an investment.Difficulty is that it's obviously not a rich part of the country, there's a limit to how much a lot can afford. That being said, I think most would accept a small rise every so often if they could see that the club was trying to progress and would benefit from the extra. If they do it now there will be an almighty backlash, it'll definitely spark protests. If they've got any sense they'll keep them the same
Not sure if interesting is the word. I’d choose volatile, personally!
There'll be a backlash no matter where they do it now. They would have better off doing it now otherwise they might as well not do it at all. After the last few results, no doubt worried about a back lash, also they will want all phones and Camaras off at the door. So no information leaking out it's been done before.
He doesn't even go to home matches...Have you been to any away games this season? Hull £18 and Millwall £26 about the cheapest. Most at least a fiver more than ours.
Fair comment GG - now is the time the club is going to have to crawl to the support. Bain will need to be at his Smarmiest best as we will lose a load anyway after this season and even more again if relegated. It certainly is. Like I say, at the right time I'd accept a bit of a price rise, especially in a league where gate receipts matter. If they try to do it now though I'll be tempted to tell them to get fucked "we've made fuck up after fuck up, please pay for our incompetence, by the way the rise in your season ticket cost won't result in any money being spent on players, we're still giving the manager a budget of £0, see you next season, Martin"
I’m obligedI can agree with this statement.
Doesn’t surprise me. Saturday was a turning point and Bain is now ripe for getting dogs abuse. Once it turns, as we have seen in the past, it can turn very nasty very quickly.People were threatening to stick a bottle in Bain's throat on Twitter, it was never ever going to go ahead.

Bain and short have no future at safc. Wouldn’t work.I think this one started on here but I heard the one about Bain putting a consortium together, taking over and short retaining 30% of his shares. Like I say I’m sure it started on here the other day and has came full circle, might be wrong though. Maybe it has something to do with him pulling the plug?

About 5 years ago, the Mags where bringing in 3x what we were on the hospitality side, as an example.Spot on. It's often mentioned that our large attendances, financially, count for very little, we make less in gate receipts than many other clubs with smaller grounds. I think we struggle a lot on the hospitality side, but equally there's a limit on how much the rank and file fans could pay even if we were successful. The struggle with gate receipts will be one thing that potential investors don't like
I am expecting a significant rise for next seasonPutting the prices up whilst refusing to invest in the team. Be interested to see how they pitch that as value for money.

If that’s true might explain it like.People were threatening to stick a bottle in Bain's throat on Twitter, it was never ever going to go ahead.
I do not post lies mate. What an absolute shambles, why agree to something like this then pull out, looks absolutely ridiculous.
