I've no idea what you're inferring from how much the McCanns contributed to the search immediately after the disappearance. So why not just spit it out, and explain what child killers do in situations such as this and how their actions prove their guilt.

I wouldn't let anyone but my wife and I to bathe the kids. For that reason, they are more than 'friends' in my eyes.

I'm not inferring anything. I'm just saying it's quite weird that neither the parents have physically helped looked for the kid. Their words.

If it was my kid I would've been out looking for her straight after it happened and for days, weeks or months, what ever it took. Not get on the plane at the 1st sign of being a suspect.

People are entitled to put forward their opinions whether everyone agrees or not.

This has always been the case whether it's the Lindbergh baby or the moon landings and as this is a forum for discussion things will be discussed.

You get more weird with every post, what do you mean by "more than 'friends'"? Like I say, just spit it out and actually say something instead making cryptic statements, I'm sure we're all interested in a moon landing denier's take on things.

I’ve stayed in Luz several times and it’s really quiet on a night with not many people about even later in the season, the McCanns apartment was very close to the main road that runs through the village. Either an accident happened and someone just covered it up ( think Ben Needham ) or she was abducted
The parents had probably relaxed the checking a bit more as each night and maybe had given the kids something to get them off to sleep - they all came over as selfish and callous to be honest .
The bizarre behaviour on that night might have been because they were drunk , they started off not telling the truth about how often they checked but as the whole thing escalated there was never a good time to change what they said.
They come over as a cold and selfish pair and it’s easy to dislike them because for sure if they hadn’t left their kids alone none of this would have happened.

I agree mate. The only point I’d add is; their behaviour that night was not only down to drink, but also the fact they realised they fucked up. Their daughter was gone and they faced the prospect of prison and losing the other children.

Would you wash other peoples kids?
Would you let other people bathe yours?

The whole bunch of them are creepy as fuck. And some have the temerity to call me weird. Wouldn't surprise me if they all swingers.

To be honest i would bathe other peoples kids and i would let other people bathe mine. Presuming by other people were talking about friends. I dont know whats wrong with that unless you suspect your friends of being paedophiles and in them circumstances... Well... They wouldnt be my friends.

From the parents own agreed timeline ....

6pm: Kate takes children back to apartment while Gerry goes to an hour-long tennis lesson.

6.30pm: Gerry asks David Payne to check on Kate and the children at the apartment.

7pm: Gerry returns to the apartment and the children are put to bed.

Would Kate really need 'checking on' when Gerry was due back in 30 minutes .... like you say they're a weird bunch.

That's the trouble with paedophiles mate, they get away with it because no one suspects them until your child has been attacked .... then it's too late.

Surely it's best not to take chances.

Ah well maybe im the daft one then but yes i would let my friends bathe my kids safe in the knowledge that my friends arent paedos.

The point is that it was the daughter of friends who trusted him completely.

You're telling porkies again mate, there's nothing at all in the witness statements that says Gerry asked Dr Payne to do anything of the sort. Is there something wrong with you?
