About to undergo major changes. Pete the manager has left, the bar is being ripped out of the middle and moved to the back wall. Major revamp apparently, hopefully some of the sweaties will leave.
 


I sometimes play gigs in Sunderland my memory of playing there was playing to 8 people. Its awkward because the bar covers most of the room downstairs.
 
Was talking to Pete a couple of weeks ago. He's probably off round Europe travelling.

New people running the place when it reopens.

I put the first dint in me Les Paul when I knocked it against the brass bar on the bar.

to be fair people dont use them but then whinge when they are gone. in terms of “proper” you are probably left with the vaults, kings arms, burton house, sinatras, cant think of many others that arent nice refit food serving places that change hands regularly
