I would have left grabban on . Vaughan had lost it by then . Grabban wasn't much better but he would have been smarter making space up front alongside maja

Yeah and he's a goal scorer. Obviously easy to say after the event but I'd have liked to have seen maybe them 2 upfront with Grabban or Asoro go on on the wing. We had 2 at the back and Wilson CDM against a side without a striker. Understandable we didn't want to lose the game though, I think we might have been more ambitious if it wasn't a side directly down there with us

Aye heard that on the wireless on way home. Seemed an odd sub at the time

Vaughan’s mis control 2nd half that ended up with a chance for then summed him up
makes you wonder where his head is at. he was particularly poor today with the ball at his feet . few boos as he walked off . not a great day at the office

Should have taken a centre half of at half time let alone against ten men. When 11-11 we were losing the midfield battle and needed an extra man in there.

Against ten men, at home, to bottom of the league, we played FIVE defenders. Wilson was crap, Love was crap. Ended with Wilson in midfield, yet McGeady and McManaman who could actually create something on the bench.

Asoro the completely wrong substitute, to play through the middle anyway. Was never going to be effective against a team sat deep.

Coleman got it wrong today sadly.

Ha'way.
He moved Wilson into midfield when they went down to 10

Don't let them bamboozle you, there are centre halves and full backs, midfielders, wingers and forwards. These combinations are put out to make you think managers are inventing new play systems.
They are not inventing anything, 3 centre half’s allows the wings backs to push forward more

We don't push forward  we attack with 3 and defend with 10/9...we are outnumbered all over the pitch. I would love to see any stats on us winning/losing 50-50 balls. It's got to be a horrific stat.

He’s working with what he has available, let’s see what January brings. I fully believe he knows exactly what we need, and he’s stopped the downward spiral we were on,which is some achievement considering how dire things were looking.

He’s not going to get it right every game, but we’re on the right path.

The biggest disappointment for me today was that for long periods we looked like the away side - particularly in the first half.

We let them have the ball and didn’t think about challenging until they were well into our half and even then they found plenty of space.

I’d have like to see us press a lot higher up the pitch, their passing was woeful even without pressure. We should have been closing them down aggressively from the start and taking the game to them imho.
