Cookie has done RELATIVELY well since he arrived. Better than predecessors it can safely be said. His performance isn't perfect and although he has brought an elelment.of hope where previously there was none, The key word is perspective.

I did say last week we must not give him pelters as what works one week will not work the next, but he has inherited a side that we all side would be relegated and so far has a record of Played 6, W 2, D 2 and L 2 and one of those losses were to villa where he was only appointed 24 hours earlier
We didn't lose, we move on to now play 3 games in 6 days where the squad will be utilised.

I’d have kept Grabban on and brought on McGeady and Maja for Vaughan and Wilson. We needed a bit of guile to break them down.

We also need to remember our better players like mcgeady, Oviedo and ndong have played very little football recently.

We had just picked up our first home win in a year, so I can totally understand why he didn't change anything.

Also you've got Williams, mcmanaman to come back into the side. I think once all of these fully return, we'll see a very different side line up.

We're missing 5-6 first team starters and finished the match yesterday with what was almost our reserves/u23 squad from last season, yet still picked up a point.

Well done cc I say.

You can't get it right all the times,he's done better in 4/5 games than Grayson and Moyes put together.

I didn't agree with some of his decisions today but this is spot on.

We were playing 442 second half with Wilson as a deep lying midfielder, who didn't really affect the game at all from there. Was crying out for someone better on the ball who could have an impact higher up the pitch, and leave Gibson in midfield as long as he wasn't injured.

I'm also not sure the 2 young lads were the right call today, as someone like mcgeady could have helped us utilise the extra man better than we did.

It's a learning curve though for both the players and CC. I think today showed too that a midfield 3 including Gooch and Honeyman is too lightweight against a big physical championship side.

Another one who would have left Gibson on even though he was injured then?

Not sure we are missing that many starters. Ndong and Oviedo will be, but McGeady's not fancied at the moment, Williams has been pointless so far and McManaman isn't a starter.

I think he got it pretty spot on. Didn’t change the side after a good performance against Fulham, all the while knowing there’s a lot of games in a short space of time coming up where he’ll need to make changes and move things around. None of the players coming away yesterday will feel hard done by, team confidence will still be good after getting another point and another game undefeated, make no mistake that we would of lost badly yesterday had it been Simon Grayson in the dugout.
