He did ok considering the squad, it was one of those edge of your seat games emotions running high and I think the pressure got to the players today. I thought both teams look like bottom of the championship today but overall we were the better side imo.

Love couldn't be the most advanced if he was the only player on the pitch.

Except he was at one point through, one on one with the keeper, in the penalty box, when Grabban played him in in the first half.

It’s called wing backs, it’s not a new formation!! Love and Matthews were 2 of the most forward players putting crosses in the box
Call them what you like, they are two full backs that are shit and if they do get forward can't get back. Dick Malone and Guthrie must of been wing backs then.

Grabban hit the ball at a 100mph at him. It would have took some player to trap that.

Personally I thought his touch was poor. Regardless, the point I was making was that we weren't playing with 5 defenders at home.

Given that a lot of the posters on here are keen to state that the manager made errors in judgement today and have gone on to say what he should have done, it makes me wonder if they are all ex managers with a wealth of experience at this level.
Let Coleman get on with the job. You can't make a silk purse with a sows ear.

They are wing backs if they play in a 3-5-2, it’s not rocket science . Chelsea won the league playing it last season

I don't think Love managed to get a ball into the box yet.
He got the ball in the box a few times 2day

Yet you think it's ok to call the whole team shite

Should have taken a centre half of at half time let alone against ten men. When 11-11 we were losing the midfield battle and needed an extra man in there.

Against ten men, at home, to bottom of the league, we played FIVE defenders. Wilson was crap, Love was crap. Ended with Wilson in midfield, yet McGeady and McManaman who could actually create something on the bench.

Asoro the completely wrong substitute, to play through the middle anyway. Was never going to be effective against a team sat deep.

Coleman got it wrong today sadly.

Ha'way.
Yes totally agree said this at the match. He got it spot on last week today got it wrong.

I wasnt convinced by the formation today which i presume was a 352?

I guess its all about the wing backs with 352 and i thought they were crap by and large.

No they don’t, some teams play 4-4-2, or 4-5-1 were the full backs get forward but not as much as wing backs as they have wingers in front of them
Don't let them bamboozle you, there are centre halves and full backs, midfielders, wingers and forwards. These combinations are put out to make you think managers are inventing new play systems.

Aye because you're only allowed to criticise if you could do a better job, right?

I'd have left Grabban or Vaughan on but can understand why he took them both off. We lacked creativity and didn't have enough ideas or composure
I would have left grabban on . Vaughan had lost it by then . Grabban wasn't much better but he would have been smarter making space up front alongside maja
