Onion, peppers, garlic, mince, chopped toms,tom puree,kidney beans, chilli,paprika, cumin and a stock pot to round it off, lovely.

I got some more big, black, dried Anchos from Waitrose, the weekend, to get a chilli on the blip. Need some Pasilla and Mulato, but Ancho are a good bet. A few processes to get them going again, but pretty good in the final thing.

I do like it with kidney beans, though.

I bought a load of different types of chillies from eBay about a month ago. The chilli I’ve made with them doesn’t compare to what I used to make, depth of flavour is amazing.

'Glug/mmm'.., Newcastle, boast an array, but they don't get the big Ancho, just the tiddlers.

New Mexico and Guajillo i got, month ago and they were alright.

Different marra.

I fancy mince and dumplings today instead of a roast like.

I'd do anything for a meal of mince and dumplings right now. My feet are cold and wet from walking in the slush. I am full of cold. My family returned to UK this afternoon and I am not back until Friday. I'd pay handsomely for a serving of M&D. Dog's back wheels that dinner.

Got a nice tasting batch in the slow cooker, put a couple of spoonfuls of this in it. Delicious! Never tried putting lager in it, is this a commonly done thing?

It's a bit too hot to enjoy with cheese and crackers, put it that way! Got a nice taste when mixed in the chili. Will have to try putting lager in next time.
