Slow cooker chilli is a game changer!

Melts the mince
Did one in the slow cooker last week for the first time but wasn't keen on the texture of the mince when done. Prefer it with a bit chew.

Used the left overs in enchiladas last night mind and it was ok in them.
 


Depends how you’re doing it mate. If you’re going to get yourself to a decent shop and pick up some ancho chillies and chipotles it’s a delicious meal.

If all you’re doing is hoying beef mince, kidney beans and tinned tomatoes into a pan you’re a pure meff imo there mate.
 
Hoy it in a plastic bowl cover with water and microwave for 14 minutes on full then wash afterwards with boiling water from the kettle.

Interesting. Mrs K washes it after too, I don't mind washing it beforehand. Doesn't take too long and it gets rid of loads of starch and speeds up the cooking
