Coleman walks out today. Both Benitez and Grayson want the job. Who would you appoint out of the two?

Your ‘predicament’ is pretty similar to what is was previously btw.
Knowing what I kn ow now I would say Benitez. At the time I said Grayson because I believed him to be a better option with no money at his disposal and a piss poor squad. I categorically never said he was a better manager. Re-read it in its entirety Sima. Without the insults, try and be grown up to debate and discuss

Did I or did I not state “under the circumstances “?

All three of them have done an excellent job at their respective clubs.
The argument that net spend is irrelevant is nonsense. Otherwise why did Grayson not marginally improve our side after relegation with his limited spending (since top players lIke Pickford, Defoe and all leaving is apparently irrelevant).
Your messiah spent 100 million quid on his own plays man, one hundred million quid!

Again, in no context and under no circumstances is Simon Grayson a better manager than Rafa Benitez. I understood your context then and I disagreed with it at the time.

You have since admitted you were wrong so I don't see why I need to re-read it in it's entirety now you admit you were wrong? Seems to be a waste of time imo.

The purpose of this forum is to discuss and debate, if my opinion at any time differs to yours it does not give you the right to resort to profanity, or do you disagree ?

You're going to be busy if you hold everyone else on here to the same standard. Or is it just Newcastle United fans this applies to?

In the past you've called me 'sad' and 'snidey'. It's a bit daft to be all high and mighty and berating someone for being 'insulting' when you exhibit the same behaviour tbh.

Lol I think there is a distinct difference but there you go. Looks like we are on different levels so you jog on

Despite your  we are only talking about whether 4 players are CHAMPIONSHIP quality. So who out of Colback, Perez, Mitrovic or sammy Ameobi do you think is not good enough for the CHAMPIONSHIP. When you have agreed with me that all of them are good enough for the CHAMPIONSHIP which you will do because they are, then ask yourself why you ended your post with a

;)
None of the above, despite needing a striker. Colback made his bed and will end up at Gateshead. Mitrovic and Perez would be too expensive and Ameobi is another Colback; a Mag and a pretty shit one at that. Might as well not have bothered typing. Another exercise in Mag arse licking. Besides which Mitrovic is a nutcase, just what we don't need.;):)

I think a nutcase is exactly what we need. Not that nutcase, though

Summer 2016 Benitez has the best squad in the championship, spends £54m and then about another £40m the following summer.

Hughton at Brighton and Wagner at Huddersfield started summer 2016 with much weaker teams than Newcastle (especially Huddersfield). Both teams have spent less than Newcastle since summer 2016.

12 games into following season and about 16 months on from that summer, Newcastle are below both Brighton and Huddersfield.

Lots of talk the other day on the radio that Benitez will hand in his resignation if takeover falls through and he does not get funds to spend. Why does he have such a strong bargaining position? Are people still going on about a cup win in 2005?

Only two league titles eh? Hardly world class. Wonder how they stack up against real world class managers

So, he was superb at Valencia, good and bad at Liverpool, champions league win absolutely but the run and the final? It was a typical cup run, bought some great players and some shite, great memories for Liverpool, but world class, nah. The rest is q mixed bag. Very good manager? Yes. Up there with the very best? No. He hasnt kept a job long enough to claim that.

TBF it is not really a dig at Newcastle, I have been a big critic of Benitez for about 10 years due to Liverpool supporting mates etc. The bloke other than last year (thanks to Brighton going on holiday early) has been a failure and a catastrophic failure at times in the league for 12 years.
morinho has spend about 4 billion over the years,, 4 f***ing BILLION
