Honeyman isn't up to the standard required now though. Seems a good lad but shouldn't be anywhere near starting for a championship side.
 
No hatred at all but he's not good enough. I do feel a bit sorry for him mind, on the one hand people say "fuck it, play the kids", then when we do it and, as expected, they aren't good enough, they get slated from some quarters. Other than the couple of stars, most of our younguns, even those who have looked good, have struggled to make a career in professional football, nevermind in this league.

Fair enough but would he be getting a game if Short had of stumped up some money to cover for his previous mistakes?

I can't stand short but I don't think it's as easy as stumping up some money. If Honeyman is the best that's came through then god help us.

If this is his all then you really shouldnt be baffled.

This is football, it isnt some kind of moral crusade, or some kind of judgement on a person as a human, its a ball game. Its absolutely fine to call somebody shit if they are, which Honeyman is.

I dont want our players to giver their all, I want them to be good at football and win. If they can do that by giving 15% then I'm happy.

I've listed plenty of other reasons why I think he's been decent this season. I used that one toward the end because I knew some people don't particularly value it.

Honey G shouldn’t be getting anywhere near the first team. I hope it’s only because of injuries and suspensions that he did tonight, and not because CC seriously considers picking him

He's absolutely pathetic. Look at his work tracking back for the first goal. He's just behind Kenan Davis (who runs far post) and that lazy fucker doesn't make even make it back into our box. Should be busting a gut to get back in so early on in the game and he's jogging Pathetic
