Exactly I want a manager I can call by his first name just like the mags. SI it is!

Just trying to be cool man.Big si man ffs
7.5-10 thenWe've spent £1.25m by mid August though, think it's a bit of a stretch to think we'll spend another £10-15m

short will inject bigger funds like he did with Keane, to get us over the line
I reckon he has about £10-£15 in his purse
Says it how he sees it. Doesn't whine about what he doesn't have. Tries to get everyone working together and to the best of their ability.
In our current situation this has got to be the best remedy imo. Will be a bumpy 1st season for him but hopefully a settled and well drilled side by January 'might' see Short take a punt and invest for a push for the play offs
It's almost impossible to achieve anything by being negative and looking at a 'half empty' glass which is the outlook of too many posters on here. Luckily for SAFC, it's someone with a 'half full glass' that is trying to stop the decline and turn the club around. He's the 1st manager in years who I think will actually get a 2nd season to try and build
Down to earth bloke seems honest and likeable.
Also seems to know whats what.
Am happy with him rather than some bloke in a pub thinkin he has all the answers
Early days and a hard league.
Mid table and I think he will of done a good job this season considering.
Higher and he is excellent.
Promotion and he is the Messiah
He's a manager of one of the biggest clubs in the country now and he knows it.
Albeit we're in the doldrums he might hopefully be the one to drag us out.
Damn sight better than dour Dave
Got those Trump skills.Think he's playing to the gallery and he's contradicted himself (lied) on a number of occasions so far, not unusual for managers mind e.g Klopp re: Coutinho. We'll see.
Probably just the inverted snobbery hard wired into ne working class males but I alwats had an irrational dislike to anyone called simon or nigel when I was growing up.
Bloody magJust really like his demeanour, not an ounce of arrogance about him. Always seems to talk common sense in interviews. I really think we've ended up with the ideal manager to develop our youngsters and guide us on to better times.
I don't think it helps having 11 arseholes on the pitch but I agree, it's a f***ing nightmare atm. I've lost interest tbh.I think he's a decent bloke but fuck me he's failing badly
For what its worth (nowt), I dont want to see him gone just yet.
Yes it's time to put him (and us) out of our misery.Cruel that though..
