Don't know why people are surprised really, I always knew they'd be safe, i think they'll be flirting with danger but will have enough to stay up. Must be nice having a good manager :rolleyes:

We've already won half of the games you did all last season after only 5 games

Of course we won't be 4th all season but I don't think we are certs for relegation either like most on here posted

I think there's more chance of you being a league 1 team to us being a championship team next season

How is 2 delegations in 8 years landing on our feet

We just make plans and make sure we bounce back at first attempt as if you don't it gets harder and harder and you end up stuck in that pub league as all of you described last season (amazing how it's not a pub league now)....for years

We won't be in Europe and they won't go down.
 
Still a long way to go. Plenty of promoted sides have made superb starts in recent years before being relegated that season.

Charlton sticks out when they went up in 98. I think by October they were sitting top 6 after having drew 3-3 at Anfield. They then just lost a few games and the confidence plummeted.
