Ham and peas pudding in a qtr stottie from The Black bull circa 1982

Can't say I've ever bothered with bar snacks.
Likewise, don't even eat before i'm out
The stottie i mentioned was for medical reasons in the days when you drank from 6.30 until 2am

"REAL" Crisps Jalapeno flavour

I always eat a sarnie before I go out, or else at some point the hunger pangs overtake the desire for beer and I end up having to get a baker's oven sossige sarnie at 1am in order to keep going. But once my stomach is lined I never buy snacks once I'm out, or indeed takeaways at the end of the night.

Piss infused nuts.

Fable would have it that a study found urine in many bowls of nuts left out on the bar. People returning form the loo and having a handfull of nuts.

No ta!

Sitting in the Tam O'Shanter now (in Dumfries - only pub in town that sells Stowford Press). They always have a constant supply of no frills snacks for folk to pick at. Sausage rolls, crisps, nuts, cheese and pickled onion on sticks, little mini Swiss rolls... heaven
