Bar snacks

Went for a pint round a trendy part of town last night and the bar snack options were:

- Ox cheek nuggets
- Mini cheese & charcuterie board

Apart from questioning where it all went wrong - got me thinking about the best bar snacks going? For me:

1. Proper pretzels in Munich
2. Snyder jalapeno bites
3. A good Scotch egg with mustard

my local does a small platter of cubed cheddar and crumbed blue cheese with some raw onion served on mini cheddars...

Absolutely quality bait IMHO. Tesco sell them but for extortionate prices.

I can vaguely remember a fish man coming round the pubs selling whelks, mussles and the like in the 1980s

Good old packet of crisps with a pint is spot on.

Pub I used to drink in years ago used to often put left over roasties and Yorkshires out like, that was canny after a skin full.
