I also didn't say that your fans didn't agree with him as most of the comments I read on the video they did agree.

A mate on fb said he talks shite cause we aren't matching even Huddersfield, I dunno if you are or not, but they spent fuck all last year you's spent shit loads!

it's the thick fuckers who don't understand...........my only gripe is that we haven't strengthened in the places we really need to, a LB, CF, number 10.

thing is the PL has gone nuts and as you's will find coming straight back up and competing is getting harder even after one season its moved to another level, but it's time for Benitez to show his metal and keep us up.

I am not so sure I would agree Pukka, sugar coat it slightly maybe but would you prefer he was positive and not honest ?
Your problem now is that Benitez has called out Ashley for not getting the players he wanted and Ashley has responded publicly which isn't good for the situation at all. As I have said in a previous post there will only be one winner and that won't be Benitez regardless of the backing of the supporters.

i agree, Benitez stamping his feet annoyed me but also Charnley the stupid **** did not get his number one and two targets early after promotion, that put us and Benitez in a right mood and set the tone for the future, Charnley is the biggest **** not Ashley

You suffering from the same problem we've had for years, not being able to shift players on who are on daft money. From experience we know how this messes things up.

as fans we thought it would be easy, its not our money and some fans of all clubs think 2-3 million is fuck all

Ashley is not prepared to bust himself, fair enough, we have still spent over £30 million ffs, but yes shifting the likes of Hanley is not easy, in hindsight he was a waste of money ( even though i didnt think so at the time)

Sunderland fans did try and say this, not out of anything but our own experience. Fans (not specifically Mag fans) sometimes have a view that players should just go for the good of the club, but in a way I disagree. I wouldn't take a lesser paid job unless I had to, they don't have to.

That is the crux of the matter. It is a vicious circle with player power dictating. You need average players, good in the division to get you up but on enhanced wages and contracts. These then become dispensable as not good enough for the premiership but because of the aforementioned can't be shifted on

yes you's did, but we saw it as a need to get us up, as long as we get it through our heads that we are potless then i don't disagree with how we went about getting up.

thing is we now need to survive this season, that's all

I think when he does eventually go then Newcastle fans will wake up and realise he did nothing for them that any other manager couldn't have done on the budget he had. The only reason he gets the adulation is simply because it's Rafa Benitez and their fans are desperate to make him out to be a success. He's managed some massive clubs so they foolishly think that, by association, as long as they have him in charge then they're a massive club.

Absolutely every cringeworthy thing they do is geared up towards trying to convince the rest of the country that they're a big club. Until they win something then they'll never be seen as a big club. The fact is they had a successful spell in the 90's and early 2000's which most of them mistake as their rightful level. They're no different to us in the sense that for the last 50 years they've largely been a mediocre top teir team/ good second teir team.
That is what I have said before and sums up completely why he has got away with this worship from the thick twats

We all warned you about Colback & we all warned you about spending over the odds on championship players. You didn't listen either time. Shame

Like we did a year ago and as you can see it gets you fuck all

all fans hope they CAN win the league, fuck me your miserable manager had you's down before you started.

Benitez has come out with a statement that we are in a relegation battle.....still think we think we think we are gonna win the league? no, we know the craic and so does he.I'd rather he was positive than negative, do you not agree?

There's no bigger critic of Moyes than me the negative fucker. Benitez is of course being realistic now but after promotion when he thought there was more money on offer he did talk about why Newcastle couldn't do a Leicester which was fanciful to say the least.

Maybe more of your support is now coming around to your way of thinking, if they are then that's better for the club as a whole rather than mass demonstrations at only spending a mere £40m or £50m which it could well be by the close of the window.

It's the funeral marches, demonstrations and boycoutts that make people believe Newcastle supporters are deluded.

You don't see this with many other clubs who's supporters must crave success just as much as the Geordie Nation.

They have these endless bedsheets & banners because the Mags truly believe they deserve much better despite 60 years of virtually nothing.

The funny thing is they've now boxed themselves into a corner and daren't criticise Benitez in any way.

If they do well it's because of Benitez, badly and it's all Ashley's fault ...... it's not hilarious but it is funny.

I'm all for daft bints with Rafa banners falling down stairs, punching horses, setting fire to their town, black and white coffins, predicting a top four place, the ***** make me laugh.
