I can afford it, it was more expensive to rent in West London. I'm just asking for some personal experience of the area so I can avoid the shitter parts.

It depwnds street by atreet round there not area. Wrong turn amd all that. Dalston 20 year ago was the aorst part pf london its bwtter but take the wrong turn off kingland high rd ... stick to the maxim " the worst property in the best area ". Go for the obvious. Hoxton amd shoreditch going furthwr north ia a minefeild

Coborn Road

Lovely road. A little oasis of nice in the East End. Good, friendly local pub. Less than 5 mins walk to either Mile End tube or Bow tube (Central and District lines). A short ride on a Boris Bike or 5 min bus ride to get to Shoreditch, Brick Lane and the Truman Brewery and the like. You couldn't get much better. OP should arrange a viewing IMO.

Without being daft like, I've always liked Coborn rd.

Anyone on here lived in Dalston, Haggerston, Stoke Newington or Hackney Central lately?

Could do with some insider knowledge on what parts of these areas are worth avoiding and where is best to live.

The only poster I can think of who lives around there is banned at the minute so can't PM. Could do with speaking to London's finest Sebasaurus II.
