It's not the age of fans.

A load of blokes who were in their 20's and 30's jumped on the keegan/sky bandwagon. I lived in Scotland at the time and a load of jocks jumped on it also. Most of your armchair fans still believe its that same era.

The mags simply can't compete with Palace and alikes these days, loftus-cheek now, previously Andros Townsend dumped them for palace. Prior to that Pardew pursuaded Carr to sign Wickham but Ashley would only let them offer £6m, he stayed at Sunderland and eventually Palace offered the going rate. They are in the lower quartile in the premier league when it comes to competing for points or for players. Some of their fans have difficulty accepting this reality.

Of course you're going to get bandwaggon jumpers no matter who you are just look at Chelsea,Man City and even Leicester f***ing ridiculous people posting foxes never die shit on FB. It's simply down to the pathetic model and frugal way the owner runs things and also the complete incompetence of having a secretary as your CEO

The amount the club generates and I don't care what people say on here we are still in the top 30 in Europe of richest clubs. If we had any business boys and competent visionaries running the club we could compete

I wouldn't say it was large but I'd say whoever did do that is an idiot. I've never come across anyone that has a kid or pet named Keegan nor would I entertain doing it myself. Bobby would be a better one :lol::lol:

I agree fully with what you said in an earlier post. City, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and now Spurs and Liverpool are light years away from the rest. A lot of other clubs could compete given the right set of circumstances but the money needed to catch up with the top 6 now is just way too much.

You are in the top 30 richest clubs by having 5 to 10m more than other premier league teams it means nothing.

Players are choosing palace because they are in London and a better team. Players are seeing you as a club likely to go down
