No you've been educated that Newcastle play an entirely different (and some would say contrary) style of football to that which you claimed.
Nobody has argued it's merit.
And I shall look forward to seeing it in action this season.

But, but they have £100billion to spend!Especially as it says Newcastle interested but may struggle to pay the £12m fee
I think it's down the back of Ashley's setee at the minuteBut, but they have £100billion to spend!

It won't be an easy season for them at all - they will be expecting Europe and gutted they missed out on Lacazette etc but still:![]()
I wouldn't go out of your way, it mustn't be exciting for a neutral.
Dunno, this Lejeune might be decent, certainly had nice things said about him by neutral La Liga journalists. Clark was very good last year, but looked suspect in the top flight before. Conversely, Mbemba looked good in the Premier League but didn't feature much last season. Lascelles is basically Steven Taylor with less stupidity.
I'd also say there are quite a few teams in the top flight with shonky defences, so we're not unusual in that regard.
Which bits do you have issue with? Out of interest?Rose tinted on me old china
My mates a season ticket holder at Sid James and he says the football was shite last seasonI wouldn't go out of your way, it mustn't be exciting for a neutral.
If they don't add half a dozen they'll struggle imo.Even if they don't add another player they'll stop up comfortably imo
I think most Mags would even agree with thatIf they don't add half a dozen they'll struggle imo.

I think when your winning lots of games but the football isn't great then most fans don't really care.Plenty of games weren't exciting. Still won plenty and finally won the league though.
I get it, I really do, but football fans love a f***ing moan. I'm good mates with a Chelsea fan who spends most of our football chats telling me how he can't wait to get rid of 1/2 his team, how they definitely won't win the league next season and how the Champions League is the only real measure of a team.
Hmmmmm not a mag though?I think this is all bollocks. The Mags are trying to anti-jinx and we're trying to go OTT on the pessimism.
The bar is pretty low to stay in the PL and is more about form, team cohesion and of course, a little bit of quality which they probably have enough of. They at least have enough to compete with the teams in the bottom 6-7 next season even today. I'd say Huddersfield, Brighton, Burnley, Watford, WBA, Swansea and Bournemouth will not consider themselves light years ahead of Newcastle in terms of squad quality and depth.
I reckon they'll make 1-2 decent quality signings and be fine.
I think when your winning lots of games but the football isn't great then most fans don't really care.
But if you play the same football this season and get beat a fair few games then some fans will turn on rafa imo
Even if they don't add another player they'll stop up comfortably imo
I'm not a mag you pillock. I just don't like giving them ammo by predicting their downfall when there's plenty of evidence that they'll get by because they're lucky twats and everyone else is shite. Hardly brimming with praise for themHmmmmm not a mag though?![]()
