Of course Defoe still actually plays for us and started the last game whilst playing for us, and Pickford will be starting for the U21s in the Euros instead of sitting on the bench, but don't let that get in the way of a good rant about England ;)
 
Butland is class tbf, would have him ahead of the other 3 keeper's

Pickford will have a right job ousting him long term

yeah he did start of season mate

weirdly he WAS capped in that period which is the only bad patch he';s had in his 3 season with us

The England U21 squad for Euros is to be announced soon. It would be better for him to play in a tournament rather than warm the bench.

Why? Scott Brown is just a poor man's Lee Cattermole. Defoe has done nothing wrong.

Southgate has called up 2 Sunderland players since taken over. But aye there's a southern bias against us.:rolleyes:

My point is that he has openly came out and said he has learned from his experience at the Euros and has played well for England since the Euros.

He's had a dreadful season playing in Italy, (he's even admitted it himself) and you are saying he's the best English goalkeeper we've got at the moment ?
