Moyes: Pickford wont be leaving

It will be very interesting to see how much the club would turn down. Moyes handling of the Kone situation last summer was applauded by most at the time. The fact Kone downed tools subsequently couldn't have been predicted but with the benefit of hindsight we should have snapped Everton's hands off for £17m.

Thankfully Pickford cares deeply about the club and his commitment to the cause couldn't be questioned if we did manage to keep hold of him, but that aside I think anything above £20m and Short will be hovering over the 'accept' button.

Good but i hope it doesn't back fire on us when he gets no money so spend, like the Kone fiasco.

Said on here last week the lad is quite happy to stay he's not pushing to go.which helps us to get a fair bid for the lad if the club had a change of heart.

As much as i like him, getting big money from his transfer is probably our only chance of getting promoted again..... we could buy about 6 decent players with the money in the right hands of course (not moyes)

tin hat on
I wouldn't trust them with a penny, keep him instead, it is one position they can't mess up

I think the club will be tested with big bids, I'm hoping Man City put a really massive bid in for the ac Milan keeper early doors. It could really set a high bench mark and takes one of the big spenders out of the equation. I don't think clubs from Everton down will be able to splash the kind of cash required.
