Thanks hubby, much appreciated. I found it hard going and just wanted to finish in the park. Those water pouches take some getting used to, either choke or get no water!Well done to all runners today.
Missus got a pb by 3 minutes and still moaned on for most of the route
I got my worst ever 10k time, but that was my job for today.

I still haven't worked them out tbh. Thanks hubby, much appreciated. I found it hard going and just wanted to finish in the park. Those water pouches take some getting used to, either choke or get no water!
I only worked it out right at the very end . You just rip the tip off and they work fine. Hard to do on the move like.I still haven't worked them out tbh.
Wanker47.23 for the 10k. Happy with that, beat my pb by 1 minute
I got frustrated and just passed it to the lad next to me. Drinking the bugger like a fish he was.I only worked it out right at the very end . You just rip the tip off and they work fine. Hard to do on the move like.
Only took me 3 Sunderland 10k's to work this out
Hi Jase47.23 for the 10k. Happy with that, beat my pb by 1 minute
Tbf there was loads of Usain Bolts towards the finishing line. I knew I had a decent time anyway so I kept away from all that shitI'm confused by this as I thought @sr1 beat me on the line like.
Yes, the wait didn't help my nerves! First 10km for nearly 2 years. Well done to everyone who ran.It was a decent run apart from making us wait an extra 15 minutes or so at the start
Crossed the line about 42. By his vest it appears he's a good club runner. I don't think it was a marshall helping him. Should have got medical attention rather than finishing.Anyone know anything about the lad who nearly collapsed at the end of the 10k? He was canny far up the field but his legs had gone and he stumbled into the fence, much like that lad in the London Marathon. The main steward bloke helped him but didn't see if he reached the line. I was tempted to run on to help him but wasn't sure of the protocol etc.
Saw a photo on Facebook of him on the bridge and he looked like he was out if it then.
I think it was the same bloke I saw earlier who gave the go ahead for the race to start. Somebody else may have stepped in after that.Crossed the line about 42.
