I totally disagree with you.
Mick McCarthy walked it twice.
Gk, if I said the Earth revolved around the Sun, you would probably disagree with me

Spot on! We need to remove the dead wood and bring in players with hunger.
It certainly is! Huddersfield are poor and still manage to challenge for the play offs. If we can bring in younger players with skill and pace we have a good chance.
Plenty of lazy responses here saying likes of Whitehead has been a key player etc when he's featured very little, probably saw him play at the weekend and against City (when they made 10 changes) thought aye he must play week in week out, same as Sidwell at Brighton, key player apparently but has been in and out of the side all season, it's Dale Stephens who was the key CM with Sid and Kayal rotating.
Also saw Stephen Fletcher is one of the main strikers in the league whereas he hasn't featured that much for Sheff Wed who have Hooper, Fotestieri and 10m Rhodes to choose from.
The thing is, most would have said exactly the same about the likes of Cook and Daniels at Bournemouth - ageing journeyman defenders, made a living in the lower leagues. Boyd, Barnes etc at Burnley. A lot of these teams like Derby have a settled squad, been playing with each of for a long time, a bit like Brighton and they will be strong next year.
Villa, Derby, Norwich etc will all be strong next season and certainly at least on par with us, hence all being shorter odds than us to win the league atm. Boro will also be shorter odds and IMO much better placed to make an immediate promotion challenge than us, Sheff Wed as well definitely, so I hope they go up via the playoffs.
Said it a few times now but I really do think people will be in for a shock next season. This is a team despite having Defoe and Pickford, Kone etc and we have 5 wins and 21 points all season, about 17 points behind modest Burnley.
I don't see why we should keep many that have proven they aren't good enough for 90% of the season every season since they've been here.
I think many people are in for a surprise if they think players like Larsson and Billy Jones will look class in the Championship because they won't.

You can put an awful lot of that directly at Moyes' feet. There's simply no way this team is as bad as its being made to look.
Fwiw, Hooper, Fletcher and Rhodes haven't even scored 10 goals this season, Forestieri has 12.
Steve Sidwell has made 33 appearances in the Championship, started 12 from the bench, so he plays more often than he doesn't.
They'll be top end Championship players, no doubt about it, especially Jones.
Realistically we're likely to retain Mannone (maybe Pickford), O'Shea, Djilobodji, Jones, Love, Oviedo, McNair, Rodwell, Watmore, Anichebe, Cattermole, Gooch, Gibson and Honeyman. That's a solid core of a top end Championship side. Spend the Pickford/Kone/Khazri/Borini money on strengthening the first team with a striker, some pace outwide, CB and and a CM.
A lot depends on the summer obviously, but I think we'll be okay. A change in manager will do us the wonder of good.
we are fckedand they haven't made the play-offs.
This is what Telegraph journo John Wardle says about our perspectives for next year - and even suggests another relegation fight
However some of our resident experts talk of us walking the league and enjoying winning again.
I am not so positive. We have to start by sorting out the managerial situation - and if we haven't got it right over the last 10 years - why should we strike gold this time?

But most of those were right place right time tap ins after though balls, long diagonal balls from the likes of Ritchie and Shelvey, 2 players I think will be fine next season (not that many more mind). Ritchie was fine for Bmouth in the Premier League last season and if we could sign someone of that ilk then I'd be more confident. If you put just about any teams main top sticker like Vibe, Abraham, Wells, Oliviera, Bent, even Danny Graham, into the Newcastle side then I'd think they would score a fair few. Will Khazri be here next season? Doubtful.Dwight Gayle was 4th choice at Crystal Palace, and scored a about 12 goals in 3 years in the PL. He drops into the Championship, plays regularly and looks like f***ing Pele...
So yer talkin ferkin shite? If you can't be bothered to read, don''t expectme to do it for lazy bones.
Not at all. Plenty of similar size clubs like Forest, Leeds, Sheff Wed and arguably Derby have been out of the Premier League for a long long time but keep going.Let's give up then
I can see you're going to be one of them posters that will be giving it the big un on here when we're in a relegation battle.
