Allardyce is one of the biggest stains in this clubs history due to his playing of a certain player under his tenure.

Ndoye was f***ing shite like.

An element of truth there but he turned Advocaat's clusterfuck around without an immediate window and only spent around £14m on the second one ( probably a profit on those players overall)

Given the money your dad has spent i'm fairly confident we'd all be booking trips to Old Trafford next season instead of Fleetwood or Scunthorpe if Sam had had that money.

He'd have kept us up IMO but over a full season he would do better at Palace than he would've with us.

My dad doesn't go to games anymore marra.

He lost Pants, Johnson, Graham, Gomez and Fletcher. Cattermole, Larrson, Watmore and Kaboul were missing through injury at some stage. He invested the little money he had wisely and got the best out of the players he had.

Cut it anyway you want, Allardyce was good for us and would have us in a better position if he was still here. Moyes has been nothing short of a disgrace and if he was anyway decent he walk away.

only transfer window we ever won.

He's getting paid no matter how shit he is at his job, he couldn't give a rats arse what anyone thinks about him, he's got no self respect, it's all about the money. An easy pay day with no consequences for being atrocious. He's a whore with no shame.
Part of the problem in football, as a manager I'd be sacked if I was incompetent with no compensation. In football a sacked manager expects to be paid for being incompetent

Let it all out marra

i'd genuinely be interested to hear how you feel about him now?

not a dig at all, i know you've been his biggest supporter on here, do you still think he is the right man for the job, dealt a bad hand, will turn it round in the fizzy pop?

Flies over people's heads this.
Our manager has managed to blow 30 million on 13 players. Not one of them an improvement on what we had. Managed to get us relegated with 4 games remaining of the season. Managed to achieve the worst premier league start in History. Managed not win a game in 8 not score a goal in 7.
Throw the towel in after 2 games. After 19 games with us bottom of the league turn round and say it was exactly where he expected us to be.
Honest Dave sits in our History alongside Wilkinson and Mcmenemy.
We certainly would'nt be in this position if big sam was still here. But thats Hodgsons Fault the useless twat.

It's something that's always puzzled me about the game when you consider the money involved and the potential consequences of failure. Much like yourself if I'd failed the way he has I'd have been sacked months ago, or more likely I'd have walked when I realised how badly I was doing.

As an obvious comparison.... Allardyce inherited a team which had the worst points per game ratio in all four divisions during 2016 when he took over from Pardew. Moyes on the other hand inherited a team with top half form over the second half of the preceding season.

I fully agree that Palace have some cracking players BUT they weren't performing.....our players are far better than 21 points but we have a "Pardew" situation here whereby there's a massive disconnect between manager and players.

we need to give Moyes time to make his mark. Don't forget, it took him twelve years before Everton finished above Man Utd in the table , mind he was Man Utd's manager at the time.
Mark, he's made his mark its called relegation sorry "stability"
