I'd rather have proper supporters mate, that's probably the only good thing about my club at present.

If you're happy for day trippers and tourists to fill your ground( and don't) then fair play. I'd rather have 20k supporters than a full house with 25 k camera snappers.
we have 52000 season ticket holders, 3000 away fans

that only leaves 2000 sold per match and those all go to members

not sure where these tourists are?

So are you saying you get a full house every game?

Did you sell out every game at Upton Park or have you found shit loads of new Hammers from somewhere?

Genuine questions as I don't follow you lot.

The cheapest seats were £5 plus booking fees and postage and were for season ticket holders only, the majority of tickets were £20/30 plus when postage and booking fees were added, but don't let the truth get in the way of your idiotic digs will you.
How much did you sell them on to your pals?

you get a number of season ticket holders not turn up especially midweek when lot of kids can't make it

lowest crowd (actual atendance) this season is 50,500.
Why can't kids make it during the week? My son has a season card and makes midweek games along with loads of other kids. Seems a pretty shit excuse to be honest mate.

because a lot of parents wont want to get back to essex at half 11 on a school night. a lot of our night games generally have lower attendances as well.

Tbh Sunderland took on a lot of daytrippers/glory hunters when moving to the SoL. 12k was added onto Sunderland's gate from 1996/97 when moving.

Can't be having a go at West Ham and Spurs when it happened at Sunderland.

pals? don't be silly, he sells them to people he doesn't know who want an opportunity to see their team play in the flesh. what better way to do that than be ripped off by someone in a more privileged position. well, i'm not sure going to tottenham every other saturday is a privilege but you get what i mean

it takes 45 mins at least to even get on a train going to East/London Essex

be lucky to get home before 11.30

FWIW I do take my boy to midweek games, but can understand people who don't

Well if some bell on a Sunderland forum trying to act like billy big bollocks says there's no tourists it must be true
creative

I'm not saying there are no tourists. But talk of thousands of them is frankly laughable
